This Privacy Policy describes how we handle information connected with the website kineticglance.com. It applies when you visit the site, subscribe to our newsletter, verify your email address, change newsletter preferences, unsubscribe, contact us, or use our cookie settings.

We aim to collect only the information needed to operate the website, deliver newsletter services, respond to readers, protect the site, understand performance, and meet operational or legal requirements.

2. Who operates this website

Kinetic Glance is operated under the brand name Kinetic Glance from India. The website is intended for readers in the United States and other countries.

For privacy-related questions or requests, contact us at privacy@kineticglance.com.

3. Scope of this Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy applies to information collected through:

  • The Kinetic Glance website.
  • Newsletter subscription forms.
  • Email verification pages.
  • Newsletter preference pages.
  • Unsubscribe pages.
  • Contact forms and reader request forms.
  • Interactive decision tools and their consent-based first-party analytics.
  • Cookie consent and cookie settings tools.
  • Server logs and security systems used to operate the website.

This Privacy Policy does not apply to third-party websites, advertisers, affiliate partners, social media platforms, search engines, browser providers, analytics providers, or external services that we do not control.

4. Information we collect

The information we collect depends on how you use the website. We do not require readers to create an account.

CategoryExamplesPurpose
Newsletter and optional marketing information Email address, subscription date, verification status, subscription status, unsubscribe status, preference choices, consent version, consent text, and the source of the subscription request. To verify optional subscriptions, send confirmed marketing emails, manage preferences, process unsubscribe requests, and prevent abuse.
Requested decision-tool emails Email address, the action plan or tool context you requested, source page, and limited rate-limit or abuse-prevention information. To send the action plan you requested, support delivery, prevent abuse, and troubleshoot operational problems.
Contact information Name if provided, email address, message content, subject, and any information you choose to include in a message. To respond to reader questions, privacy requests, corrections, feedback, or support requests.
Technical information IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, timestamps, pages requested, referrer URL, and basic log data. To operate the website, diagnose errors, prevent abuse, maintain security, and understand basic site activity.
Cookie preference information Consent choices, accepted categories, rejected categories, preference timestamp, and browser storage values. To remember your cookie choices and provide a consistent privacy experience.
First-party decision-tool analytics, when you consent Random session identifier, tool and event names, question identifiers and numbers, selected answer values, result and offer identifiers, and page or referrer URLs with query strings and fragments removed. To measure tool entry, completion, question drop-off, result views, email-submission counts, and offer interactions so we can improve the experience.
Advertising and affiliate measurement Advertising click identifiers such as Google GCLID or Microsoft MSCLKID, campaign parameters, consent choices, conversion-event names, affiliate-link clicks, referral information, cookies or similar identifiers where allowed, and fraud-prevention data. We do not intentionally send questionnaire answers, credit score ranges, result identifiers, financial-status descriptions, subscriber database identifiers, names, or email addresses to Google Ads or Microsoft Advertising as standard conversion parameters. To attribute advertising visits and conversions, measure campaign and affiliate performance, and prevent fraud.

5. Information collected automatically

When you visit the website, our server may automatically record limited technical information. This may include your IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, referring page, pages visited, timestamps, and error logs.

This information helps us keep the website working, identify technical problems, protect against spam or abuse, monitor server performance, and understand general usage patterns.

6. Cookies and similar technologies

Cookies and similar technologies are small files or browser storage mechanisms that help websites remember information, operate correctly, measure performance, or support advertising and affiliate tracking.

Essential cookies

These are needed for basic website operation, security, cookie consent, and preference storage. These may be used even if you reject non-essential cookies.

Preference cookies

These may remember choices such as cookie settings, privacy preferences, or other site preferences.

Analytics technologies

We use consent-based first-party analytics for interactive decision tools. These analytics run only after you allow analytics in Cookie Settings. We do not currently use Google Analytics. Google Ads conversion measurement and Microsoft Advertising UET, when active, are described in Section 10 and controlled through Cookie Settings.

Advertising and affiliate cookies

Some pages contain sponsored affiliate links, and we record first-party offer-click events. When Google Ads, Microsoft Advertising, or other advertising measurement is active, advertising providers may use click identifiers, cookies, or similar technologies to attribute visits and conversions, measure performance, prevent fraud, and personalize advertising where allowed. Advertising storage and related uses are controlled through Cookie Settings and applicable consent signals. Under our basic Google Consent Mode implementation, Google Ads tags are blocked until marketing consent is granted, and no Google Ads data is sent before that consent. Microsoft Advertising UET is likewise not loaded until marketing consent is granted on routes where it is enabled.

You can accept all cookies, reject non-essential cookies, or customize your choices using the cookie banner or the Cookie Settings link in the website footer. You can also block or delete cookies through your browser settings.

7. Requested emails and optional marketing subscriptions

Some interactive tools let you request an action plan by email. When you ask us to send an action plan, we use the email address you provide to send the action plan you requested and related operational messages. Requesting an action plan does not subscribe you to optional marketing emails, and the action plan is not conditioned on selecting a marketing checkbox.

If you separately subscribe through a Kinetic Glance newsletter form or select the optional marketing checkbox in a decision tool, we collect your email address and subscription-related information in our database. The decision-tool marketing checkbox is optional and unchecked by default. We use email confirmation before activating these optional marketing emails.

Optional marketing emails may include consumer tips and relevant offers, including money-saving and home-service offers, as well as practical guides, recommendations, website updates, sponsored references, and preference messages.

You can unsubscribe from optional marketing emails at any time using the unsubscribe link in those emails or through our unsubscribe page. Unsubscribing from optional marketing does not affect an action plan that you separately request. We may retain limited information needed to honor an unsubscribe request and prevent accidental re-subscription.

8. Contact forms and reader requests

If you contact us through a form or by email, we may collect your email address, name if provided, message content, and technical details needed to process the request and prevent abuse.

We use this information to respond to your message, review corrections, handle privacy requests, investigate problems, improve content, and maintain website security.

Do not send sensitive personal, financial, medical, legal, account-security, or identity information through general website forms unless it is necessary for your request.

9. Analytics

We use consent-based first-party analytics for interactive decision tools. The analytics are processed through our own website backend and database. We do not currently use Google Analytics. Google Ads conversion measurement and Microsoft Advertising UET, when active, are separate from these first-party analytics and are described below.

When analytics consent is enabled, we may record a random session identifier, tool and event names, question identifiers and numbers, selected answer values, result and offer identifiers, and page or referrer URLs after query strings and fragments are removed. This helps us measure entry, completion, question drop-off, results, email-submission counts, and offer interactions.

We do not include the email address submitted to the newsletter form in decision analytics. For new decision analytics events, we do not store raw IP addresses, user-agent strings, or unrestricted copies of the submitted event payload. You can disable future analytics through Cookie Settings.

10. Advertising and affiliate links

Google Ads conversion measurement

When Google Ads campaigns are active, we may use the Google tag and Google Ads conversion measurement to understand whether an advertising click leads to actions such as completing a checkup, submitting an email form, or clicking a sponsored offer. Measurement may involve Google click identifiers such as GCLID, campaign parameters, consent signals, cookies or similar identifiers where allowed, and conversion-event information.

We configure Google Ads measurement to respect Cookie Settings and Google Consent Mode. Advertising storage, advertising user-data use, advertising personalization, and analytics storage are adjusted according to the visitor's consent choices. Under our basic Consent Mode implementation, Google Ads tags are blocked until marketing consent is granted, and no Google Ads data is sent before that consent.

We do not intentionally send Google Ads your email address, full name, questionnaire answers, credit score range, result identifier, financial-status descriptions, or subscriber database identifier as standard conversion parameters. As of the date of this policy, Enhanced Conversions are not enabled.

Microsoft Advertising Universal Event Tracking (UET)

When Microsoft Advertising campaigns are active, we may use Microsoft Advertising UET on the credit-score checkup route to understand whether an advertising visit leads to actions such as completing the checkup, submitting the requested action-plan email form, or clicking a sponsored offer. UET may process Microsoft Click ID (MSCLKID), page or referral information, consent signals, cookies or similar online identifiers where allowed, and custom conversion-event information.

Our current implementation does not load Microsoft Advertising UET until marketing consent is granted. If marketing consent is later withdrawn after UET has loaded, we send an advertising-storage denied signal to the active UET tag. Microsoft may collect or receive personal data from users or from us to provide Microsoft Advertising. For more information about Microsoft's handling of personal data, see the Microsoft Privacy Statement.

We do not intentionally send Microsoft Advertising the email address entered into the action-plan form, full name, questionnaire answers, credit score range, result identifier, financial-status descriptions, or subscriber database identifier as custom UET conversion parameters.

Display advertising

We do not currently use Google AdSense or another display-advertising service. If display advertising is introduced, this policy and the related consent controls will be reviewed and updated before activation.

Affiliate links

Some pages contain sponsored third-party offers and affiliate links. We may receive compensation when readers click a link, submit information to a partner, make a purchase, or complete another qualifying action. This should not change the price paid by the reader.

We may record first-party offer-click events for measurement and fraud prevention. After you leave Kinetic Glance, the affiliate partner may use cookies or similar technologies under its own privacy policy to attribute referrals, clicks, and conversions.

11. How we use information

We may use information to:

  • Operate, maintain, and secure the website.
  • Send an action plan or other requested decision-tool email when you ask for it.

  • Security, spam-prevention, and abuse-detection services.

  • Advertising providers, if advertising is enabled.
  • Affiliate networks or merchants, if affiliate links are enabled.
  • Professional advisers, if needed for legal, technical, or operational support.
  • Government, legal, or regulatory authorities when required by law.

Some privacy laws may treat certain advertising, analytics, affiliate measurement, or cross-context tracking as “sharing,” “selling,” or “targeted advertising,” even when personal information is not sold for money. If we use tools that trigger these requirements, we will provide applicable choices where required.

13. Data retention

We generally retain newsletter and contact records for up to 2 years, unless a longer period is needed for security, legal, operational, dispute, backup, fraud-prevention, or abuse-prevention purposes.

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information, including controlled access, server security practices, email verification, abuse-prevention controls, and operational monitoring.

No website, server, database, email system, or internet transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure. If you believe information you sent to us may be at risk, contact us at privacy@kineticglance.com.

16. California privacy notice

Kinetic Glance is operated from India and may not currently meet the legal thresholds that make the California Consumer Privacy Act apply to a business. However, because our content is intended for readers in the United States, including California readers, we provide this practical privacy notice.

In the past 12 months, we may have collected the following categories of information depending on how readers used the site:

  • Identifiers, such as email address and IP address.
  • Internet or network activity, such as pages visited and browser details.
  • Approximate location inferred from IP address, if available through server or security logs.
  • Decision-tool and offer interaction data when analytics consent is enabled; affiliate conversion data only if affiliate tools are enabled later.
  • Correspondence content, if you contact us directly.

We do not knowingly sell personal information for money. If we later use advertising, analytics, affiliate measurement, or similar tools that qualify as “sharing,” “selling,” or “targeted advertising” under applicable law, we will provide required choices.

California residents may contact us at privacy@kineticglance.com to request access, deletion, correction, or information about applicable privacy choices.

17. International visitors

Kinetic Glance is operated from India and may be accessed by readers in the United States and other countries. If you use the website from outside India, your information may be processed in India or in other countries where our hosting providers, email infrastructure providers, analytics providers, advertising partners, affiliate partners, or other service providers operate.

Privacy laws differ by country. We will handle privacy requests according to applicable law and our ability to verify and process the request.

18. Children’s privacy

Kinetic Glance is a general-audience website and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal information through the website, contact us at privacy@kineticglance.com so we can review and delete the information where appropriate.

19. Third-party links

Our articles may link to third-party websites, tools, products, services, government pages, research sources, retailers, advertisers, or affiliate partners. We are not responsible for the privacy practices, content, terms, security, or accuracy of third-party websites.

You should review the privacy policy and terms of any third-party website before providing personal information, creating an account, or making a purchase.

20. Browser signals and Do Not Track

Some browsers may send “Do Not Track” or similar signals. Because there is no single consistent industry standard for responding to these signals, the website may not respond to every browser-based signal automatically. Where required by applicable law or supported by our tools, we will provide privacy choices through cookie settings or other opt-out mechanisms.

21. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when our website, tools, data practices, advertising relationships, affiliate relationships, service providers, or legal requirements change. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page shows when this policy was last revised.
